In addition, In Excess has all up to date fishing equipment which includes, GPS, Auto Pilot, VHF Radio, Depth Sound Finder, 2 Outriggers, 2 Downriggers, various Kites, and Government approved safety equipment.

Captain Matthew Tumbridge is a young Bermudian with a dedicated love for fishing. His passion for fishing started on the very boat he now owns, In Excess. He started fishing with Captain Gilbert Amaral, a well-known and respected fisherman, over 10 years ago. As time went on, he knew that he wanted to Captain his own Charter Fishing Boat.

During the course of his life, he maintained experience throughout the boating community. Captain Matthew has obtained a sound knowledge of Bermuda and her waters by working on various Charter Boats. His fishing buddies know him, as a hard working young man with great ambitions. With such goals and ambitions, Captain Matthew has successfully completed 4 ocean crossings. On these journey’s he was exposed to a wide range of fishing and weather conditions.

The dream finally came true. The opportunity to buy “In Excess” came about and Captain Matthew knew this was it; his life long dream would be fulfilled.
